Growing up in the small town of Ourimbah on the New South Wales Central Coast I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by stunning temperate rainforest and world famous coastal habitats flourishing with wildlife.
My wildlife journey began at the age of 15 when I began volunteering at the Australian Reptile Park in Somersby, over the following 4 years I discovered the world of reptiles and public speaking, an interesting combination which would end up shaping my future.
In 2009 I moved to my dream location, Far North Queensland where I secured a job at Hartley's Crocodile Adventures as a Reptile Keeper, it was here my love of Crocodiles was born.
Over the following years I conducted educational wildlife shows to over 100,000 people from around the world, focusing on Australian Crocodiles and Venomous Snakes.
In 2013 I met and worked with my now wife, Jodie Creek. Already owning and operating a wildlife education company, Zoo to You, I joined Jodie in delivering nature based educational talks to children and adults throughout Far North Queensland. It was over these years I travelled throughout Australia discussing the importance of Human and Crocodile coexistence to community groups, university students and industry professionals.
In 2015 I joined the Queensland Police Service, working as a frontline Police Officer in Cairns, Port Douglas and throughout Cape York. During 2021 I worked as the Media Officer for the Far North Queensland Police Service.
My passion for nature photography has slowly developed over the years as I aimed to capture some of the more unforgettable moments on my travels throughout the world. I have since showcased my nature photography at several exhibitions throughout Cairns and Sydney. Most notably I was awarded winner at the Australasian Society of Zookeeping photography awards in 2019, that same year I was also awarded first place in the inaugural Wet tropics Photography Competition.
In 2018 I began working as a Freelance Nature Guide throughout Far North Queensland and eventually broader Australia. I take pride in sharing my backyard with guests from around the world.
I currently work as an Australian Expedition Leader for Natural Habitat Adventures and a nature Tour Guide for FNQ Nature Tours.
